We specialize in sustainable bronzing in label and packaging printing
Bronzing is one of the oldest and most effective print finishing techniques, with a unique metallic surface sheen that clearly sets it apart from classic metallic printing inks. It creates high-quality gold, silver, bronze, and pearlescent effects that are intensely visible from any angle and visibly enhance labels, packaging, and commercial printing.
Unlike hot and cold foil, bronzing does not require a plastic carrier material. The metal pigments are applied directly into or onto the ink layer – there is no PET carrier foil or residual foil waste, as is the case with foil embossing due to the nature of the system.
At the same time, bronzing offers design flexibility: metal pigments can be formulated in almost any color shade – from classic gold and silver shades to individual, brand-specific metallic colors.
Bronzing that inspires
Sustainability meets innovation
While UV glitter coatings are often based on plastic particles and UV-curing binders with photoinitiators—a segment that is increasingly the focus of European microplastic regulations and glitter restrictions—bronzing uses metallic pigments without plastic particles. The metal pigments themselves are completely recyclable in terms of material, and studies show that metallic pigmented printing inks do not hinder fiber processing and deinkability in the waste paper recycling chain if they are formulated appropriately.
Your strong partner for metallic effects with a better ecological balance
The result is premium finishes that impress at the POS while meeting the increasing demands for sustainability, recyclability, and resource conservation.
